Virginia City, Nevada Virginia City Nevada is located near Carson City.  It is one of the most famous re-born ghost towns in the US.  We spent most of our time there going through the cemeteries on the edge of town.   HistoryAdditional Info; Official Virginia City Website  
Lamoille Canyon Lamoille Canyon lies in the Ruby Mountains of Northeastern Nevada near Elko.  The road is about 12 miles long and features some of the most beautiful scenery in the county.  The road has been designated a National Scenic Byway by the US Forest Service.    Lamoille Canyon Info
